It’s important to have a buyer’s agent represent your best interest and not work directly with the listing agent. The listing agent represents the seller’s best interest and only gets paid if he/she sells that specific house. A buyer’s agent represents the buyer’s best interest and has no incentive to sell a particular property. Therefore there’s no conflict of interest.
